Our Malin React vessel mobilisation business unit continues to overcome the challenging COVID-19 situation and successfully support clients’ critical business operations.
Two major mobilisations have taken place during this month.
Early in April, Malin React demobilised the vessel MV Elektron for Briggs Marine in Leith following critical subsea cable laying operations. Additional health and safety measures were put in place to combat the risk presented by COVID-19. Even with these additional measures in place, the job was completed safely with little or no disruption to normal productivity.
Matthew Hart, Briggs Marine Project Manager stated, “Malin React really stepped up to the plate to help Briggs Marine through what became a rigorous demobilisation process as government guidelines evolved day by day. I would like to thank everyone at Malin React for their contribution to the project.”
Malin React is also undertaking a mobilisation for Helix Robotic Solutions on their Siem Dorado vessel in Blyth. The scope of work is to mobilise trencher and WROV systems within a time-critical window. Like the MV Elektron job, additional measures regarding COVID-19 are in place and the project is progressing well. More on this next month!
