Malin React has successfully demobilised the vessel MV Elektron for Briggs Marine following critical subsea cable laying operations. Additional health and safety measures were put in place to combat the risk presented by COVID19. Even with these additional measures in place, the job was completed safely with little or no disruption to normal productivity.
Stephanie Collins, Malin React Business Unit Manager commented, “we are delighted that our React team were able to support Briggs Marine in their essential operation this week in Leith. Malin React’s COVID-19 procedures were successful in operational safety compliance throughout, which was vital to safeguard the health of both the crew onboard, as well as the React team conducting the back deck operations.”
Matthew Hart, Briggs Marine Project Manager stated, “Malin React really stepped up to the plate to help Briggs Marine through what became a rigorous demobilisation process as government guidelines evolved day by day. I would like to thank everyone at Malin React for their contribution to the project.”
